A number of spring classroom and school activities will be broadcast live online as a way for us to test a new service we are interested in utilizing. Besides facilitation the live streaming of events, this service also automatically creates a recorded archive of events, so you can go back and watch again.
You can find links to the live streams HERE.
Currently, we plan to stream the follow events:
- May 14 - Adams Elementary 1st grade music program
- May 20 - Multicultural program
- May 30 - Adams Elementary 2nd grade Small World program
- More to be determined later
Of course, if you are a parent or grandparent invited to one of these events, we certainly hope you will make every effort to attend in person. That sends an valuable to your child that you see their education as being important.
However, if there is no way for you to make it in person, we hope that this live streaming option will be beneficial for you.
We'd love to hear your reaction to it. Please email tech@fergusotters.org with any comments you may have.

Fergus Falls High School students recently showed Art pieces created in the last few months. These works along with 20 other FFHS student pieces were displayed in the Regional High School Show at the New York Mills Regional Cultural Center. These students' works were created under elective Art courses taught by Peder Butenhoff.
Anne Childs constructed her ceramic sculpture of a "Celebration Dance" in Pottery and received the "Peoples Choice Award". Claire Ripley's watercolor called "Autumn Watercolor" was composed in Drawing and Painting course and received a first place prize, and Michael Aasness constructed his "Grizzley" on an armature with wax in Rare Mediums course. It earned him second place overall.
These works and many more will be on display at the Blondeau Fine Arts Festival May 20th from 5-9pm at the Kennedy Secondary School.
