The primary
goal in the Fergus Falls High School is to prepare students in grades 9-12 for
the next step in their life, whether that be college, technical college or full-time
employment. Both staff and students are encouraged to stretch their academic,
professional and personal abilities by setting high expectations and pursuing
them rigorously.
Another goal
is to develop positive relationships between staff and students. The high school
operates under the direction of a site-based management council which is made
up of teachers, students, administration, support staff and parents.
There are
more than 110 curriculum offerings in the following departments: agriculture,
art, business and computers, foreign language, Family and Consumer Science,

classes are available at the Senior high in mathematics, language arts and foreign
language. Students may also register for additional college classes at the Fergus
Falls Community College through the Post-Secondary Education Option program.
These courses may be taken for high school and/or college credit.
