OtterBots perform well at state tournament

FIRST Team 3293, the Kennedy Secondary School OtterBots, had a great MSHSL showing on Saturday.

The Team finished 9th out of 36 Teams that qualified for the State Tournament during the qualifications rounds.  There was not much they could do better and hard to imagine a team that had more fun than the OtterBots on Saturday.  The climber improvements they made during their time allotment paid off.  They are a hardworking, resourceful, fun-loving group of students.  There is no question at all that the inspiring experiences and memories from this season will be with this Team for a long time.

I just wanted to thank you for hosting the Team sendoff to State last Thursday, and for all you have done for this Team over the years.

And certainly the Team wanted to thank all of the Sponsors, business and individuals who donated to help make this a great and memorable experience!

Blondeau Fine Arts Festival to be held Thursday, May 25

Each year the Kennedy Secondary School sets aside an evening to celebrate the many talented students of Fergus Falls Middle and High School. This year’s Blondeau Fine Arts Festival will be held on Thursday, May 21st from 5:30-8:00.

The halls of the Kennedy Secondary school will be filled with the sounds and sights of hundreds of pieces of art that were created by our students as well as a performance stage for students to present their musical talents.

There will also be a Middle School Choir Concert taking place at 7:30 in the Auditorium. We invite you to spend the evening with us free of charge as the Fine Arts Faculty presents the Blondeau Fine Arts Festival.
